DOG LICENSE
Wisconsin state law requires all dogs over 5 months of age MUST be registered by the first of April annually.
To register your dog, please provide a current Rabies Certificate issued by a veterinarian (REQUIRED EVERY YEAR), along with payment to the City Clerk's office at 203 N First Street between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Per City ordinance, a total of 3 dogs or 3 cats, or a combined total of 4 dogs AND cats are allowed in any residential unit without prior issuance of a kennel license by the common council. For example, 123 Abby Street has 3 dogs and 1 cat. The neighbor next door has 2 cats and 2 dogs. Each has a total of 4 animals. See ordinance 7-1-22 for additional information.
